I am looking forward to flying around old world, leveling and following more of the story, but I don't think I will ever raid again :(

lol, no, done with WoW.... I figure I'll do the goblin/worgen start zones too, but I'm just in it for the lore, and the way lore has gone and they way they just rush through everything now, I'm pretty done with WoW now.

As a casual I'm pretty excited about the raiding changes (10 mans no longer feel like a giant waste of time!) but I still can't see myself reactivating because:

1) PVP imbalance - melee dps exponentially scaling with constantly improving gear gear is still being ignored, despite 3 years and 2 expansions of arenas worth of evidence. Mistakes in a PVP environment should be made in combat, not at the character selection screen.
2) Deathwing as a villain, yay? Honestly, Warcraft 1-2 couldn't story tell for beans, especially compared to WC3. Just not feeling it, and even though they did an awesome job with Wings of Liberty, Starcraft 1 wasn't so terrible at weaving the tale so they did have a lot to build off.
3) Lack of interesting raid content - bosses seem to be getting increasingly lamer. Last time raiding was actually fun instead of a chore was Ulduar for me, and it's not like Icecrown Citadel sucked like Coliseum either. To be honest, Skywall looks pretty intriguing but data mining is showing quite the lack of creative new boss fights.
4) Starcraft 2 is incredible. Even now, it's safe to say I'll be frying guys with Psionic Storms and raiding with infested Terrans for years. In comparison, WoW is looking less and less appealing.

On the other hand:

1) Tons of new quests and two hot looking starting zones! Let's not forget that the good parts will be all over video sites like YouTube!
2) Malfurion's back!...but Orgrimmar's on lockdown with Mr. Psycho running the place, and they went and trampled my Ashenvale on top of that.

Yeah, not worth the price tag.

Yay for bumping topics a month old..

I'll more than likely level all my level my current 80's to 85 and get involved in raiding. I actually enjoy raiding, just dislike having to deal with crybabies.

Haven't decided if I want to do a ten man or a 25 man yet. It'll be interesting to see how the guild handles raiding, we had two 25 man raids (guild runs, not pugs) and a bunch of ten mans that ran.
